Anyone reloading for the 7.5 Swiss? I just bought a K-31 straight pull and am working up loads for it.
So far IMR4350 and 180 grain Nosler BT's look promising.
I need a good hunting load for mediam range hunting of white tail deer and a cheap load for plate shoots.
Mil surp ammo for this rifle is match quality but expensive!!

I'm using 150 grain Hornady SPs with 45 grains of IMR 4064. The K-31 has a very short throat. I am using an OAL of 2.875" per the Hornady reloading manual. I got a 5 shot 2" group at 100 yds with the iron sights with this load.

Are you aware that there are at least three excellent sites devoted to Swiss military rifles?

Yes I am aware of that and am a member of them but thought I would post here also. Is that a problem?
