Yotecaller, Never used the 265 but the 240's do well with max loads of H-110. Of course, work up, but reduced loads do not always cycle an Eagle consistantly. I now only load and shoot 1 load out of my DEP: A 300 grain XTP (the Nosler 300 can fill in) over a heavy dose of H-110 (18.5 - 19.0 grains, which is the published max in this application). Again (you know this) start low and work up. This load shoots better than I do at 50 yards, open sighted, sometimes 5 shots < 4". Good luck, Jason

H110, W296, 2400, etc. all perform well w/ 240-300gr bullets in the DE. You need to run med. to full power loads for good functioning. Just stay away from lead bullets & wax lubes, they tend to gum up the gas ports. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

Yotecaller Accurate Arms listed loading info for the Desert Eagle in their manual, I don't know about the new one but the previous one had it. I have used No.9 with good results.

All I load is 240gr bullets. 21.0gr of 2400, 23.0gr of H110, and 24.0gr of W296 all perform excellently.

I have, in the past, used 23.0-23.5 H-110 with the 240 XTP. That is a good load at that bullet weight. Jason
