Be prepared to snicker at my ignorance. homer I keep reading about annealing cases or case necks. When does this need to be done (how do you know) and how do you do it? (I know it has something to do with strengthening metal with heat.)

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.

Try these URL's : Also nobody can tell you precisely how many reloads before annealing is necessary . Individual reloading habits techniques vary so do the number of SAFE reloads . It's something you must learn to recognize .
It's actually to soften the metal so it will be pliable so as not to " Work harden " !.
