just starting to reload my own and struggling to find data....its a 7.92 mauser with 196 fmj bullet heads....been told around 40 gr etc but i know i have to adjust etc,,,,any help please

With 220 gr bullets 3.22" and 48 gr IMR4895, I have seen 2625 fps and no extractor groove growth .

I have also seen 2553 fps with 3.14"



With 200 gr bullets seated long to jam into the lands and 50 gr IMR4895, I have seen hard to lift bolt handle.

For 200 gr I have settled in on 47 gr IMR4895 and I get 2618 to 2650 fps and great accuracy with 29" barrels.

You should be able to get that data from powder makers site.
