If you get the brass for free, how much would be an average price per round to reload each one? This is for a 7mag. They are over a dollar each from Federal- how much does it cost to reload each one and how many times can you use the brass? Do you have to clean it before using again? Thanks

Nathan,the 7 mm Mag. can be reloaded for about half a euro,about a half dollar,with Sierra or Hornady bullets,in Belgium,in the US it should be a lot cheaper I believe.

I forgot to mension:the brass should be at least be of the same manufacture,because there is a real difference in capacity between brands and even between manufactering lots from the same brand,be carefull because these differences can be big enough to cause overpressures.
I suspect your brass for free comes from a shooting bench for sighting in huntingrifles,a classic case,most of the time all the brass is of different brands,I do have them myself.

Once fired brass is fine and the cost per round is about 33 cents if you load your own. It is not a good idea to mix lots or manufacturers. Keep the brass seperated as to lot and maker. Mixed brass as to makers will cause your groups to swell dramatically also point of impact changes. It is possible to get up to ten firings from once fired brass. Any shooter in the know would never mix lots or makers of brass when loading his own fodder.

my handloads cost from 20 cents to 35 cents each,in calibers ranging from 9mm to 50 ae.I estimate the brass into the cost at 5 cents each,estimating using them 5 times.you will most likely get more than 5 reloads for the brass,but may lose some ect.an easy way to judge your savings is handloads are usually 60% cheaper than factory ammo.
