I am kinda surprised about your H1000 results. I shoot the same setup with 180Nosler PT and CCI 250, and 94.5g of H1000 and getting 3200 with Std DEv. of 20fps. Actually, I am surprised by all your results.

Bigcountry,

I'm surprised by them as well. They are all 50-100 fps slower than I expected. Even the factory loads ought to be 3300 out of a 26" barrel. I guess I just have a slow gun. (Or possibly an incorrect chronograph! But the numbers seem about right with the other calibers I've chrono'd, so I'm doubting it's the chronograph's fault.)

How did the factory Scirroco's shoot? I've yet to happen across a box, but the partitions do not group well for me. (Maybe 5 into 1.5")

The factory sciroccos did 1.5" at 200 yds out of my LSS. Have not tried them with the SAKO 75.

c`mon man tip the can.all those loads are way light.
The factory loads are about right but you aint stretching his legs with 88gr. of RL 25.you should be able to go to at least 95 with the 175.I am using 98 with a coated 180 at over 3400 fps.96 is max with 180`s in the Hornady manual for un-coated bullets.

My rifles deliver 3375fps with 180gr bullet ahead of 96 gr of reloader 25 and 3480 fps with a 165 gr bullet ahead of 100 gr of h-1000.Both are 26" pac nor barrels on custom rifles.

Keep the numbers coming, folks. I'll keep boosting my loads if others have successfully blazed a trail...

Next up, higher loads with RL-25 and H-1000 with the 175 Matchking.
