My Savage 110FP gives .5" groups at 100 yds using 100 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips with 51 grains of IMR 4350, CCI 200 primers and an OAL of 3.250". The chronographed muzzle velocity is 3167 fps. I get .75" groups using the Nosler 120 grain Partitions with 49 grains of IMR 4350 with a muzzle velocity of 3008 fps. My 110FP has a 24" barrel.

festus, Try some R22 w/ 100 grners. That works best in my rifle. H4831 does alright too. I purchased some 115 NBTs last night and I intend on trying them this weekend w/ IMR 4350 and R 22. I will let you know how they shoot. Good Luck! Reloader

Festus, My 700 Sendero SF will shoot sub-moa consistently with a load of 57 gr of Re 19 and a 100 Gr. Sierra MK seated at 3.215" in R-P brass. I have used CCI BR and Fed gold medal match primers with good success. CCI 200s are probably just as good but I've just gotten used to buying BR primers. Work up your charge to this level it is warm in my rifle but safe from the indications I have seen. I Shoot this load for 1000 yds and I can hang alright with the guys shooting dedicated 1000 yd BR rifles chambered 300 WM improved. This is what I have found to work well. HTH

I recently got a .25-06 and have been gathering data myself. I was working with RL22 and Hrnady 117gr and was seeing pressure signs at book max. Groups weren't to good but that may be partially due to the lack of bedding and trigger work. ( soon to be corrected) I haven't tried the 100gr. pills in the .25-06 but in the .257 Roberts IMR4350, RL19, and both 4831's seemed about equal. I chose the IMR 4350 as it seemed to be the most consistant in my rifle. From my experience, the case volume, and parusing through data I'd say this may well be a good place to start.

RL22 (up to 58 grains), F-210 or Rem. 9.5 primers, and either the 100 grain Sierra BTSP or Hornady SP seated at their sweet spots are great combinations--if your looking for both accuracy and velocity.

Festus, The 115 Grn. NBTs did well today at the range. W/ 51 grns of IMR-4350, I was able to shoot a nice .43" 3-shot group. R22 (53 grns) didn't shoot as well as the IMR 4350 but, I still shot some groups right at an inch. Hope this helps. Reloader

51 grains of RE-22 with 115 NBT's or CTBST's are tack drivers in my gun. The same powder charge with Hornady 117 SST's is even better. It's not a max load, but that is where I found my best accuracy so I called it good. I could never get loads with 4350 to compare to those of RE-22.

Chronied at 3250 fps from a 24" bbl....to make the holes in the bottem two targets in the picture at 100 yds....the target on top is my .223. And yes, both of the ugly sticks making those hole are Savages!!!

I've been using the 80gr HV from GS for a couple years now. 58.0 gr. Win. 760 and Fed.210m gives me 3684 avg. with groups consistantly under half in at a 100.
