I have been trying WXR in my 260 Remington with 129 gr. Hornady's & 140 gr. Speer's. It is alright, seems like it is damn close to RL22, for less $$.

It's between Re-22 and IMR4831 on the burn charts. I think it was developed for the heavyier bullets for caliber, but not much data found other than from winchester co. I worked up the 154gr load by starting low at 64.0gr and increasing in 1.0gr increments up to 68gr. Somewhere around 66.0gr the groups started opening up to 1.25" in my rifle. I tried several other powders (r-22,R-19, IMR7828, H-870, IMR4350, H-1000 and IMR4831) and IMR4831 was next best at 3,014fps but not as tight a groups. I have used this powder 160gr bullets and got fair groups (1.0"-1.5") at 100yds and 2,948 fps at 67.5 gr recomended by Winchester. I can't find the WXR listed in any reloading manuals yet but I bet it will catch on! I may try it in .270 later on. BLR7

I haven't tried it yet in my 7mm Rem Mag, but I will try it soon in a 25-06 Rem w/ 115 gr. bullets.
