Has anyone used the Winchester 180 grain power- point on white-tails? Our large deers are 200 pounds class here. Would like to know how these bullets perform on say a 150-200 pound deer. Thanks for any information you can give me on this.

I have used them on deer of that size range as well as the Remington Core-lokt and never had bullet failure with either. FWIW, this is not from personal experience but I have read that the PowerPoints when used on larger game had a lot less problem with core separation than the Core-lokts. I wish they made the PP in .308 165grain. Dennis Life member NRA

The 180 grain power point is far more than adequate for 200 pound whitetails. It'll do just fine for you. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
