I am engaged in searching for .275 Rigby headstamped brass for a current rifle project, and have stumbled acorss the above Company in the USA. I wonder if anyone has experience of dealing with the Company in terms of availability, cost, delivery etc. I am aware of the difficulties of exporting brass from the USA under the OBumma regime, but there may be a way to achieve it legally with an appropriate licence. Or, are there any potential sources in say, South Africa or Australia that anyone might be aware of? Thanks Peter

There is, it's just expensive and slow. US$250 in US State Dept fees for the export license [valid for 6 months], and you have to use a registered exporter. Who will of course add their fees, shipping etc. You'd be paying a lot for a headstamp! Bertram in Australia doesn't list it, neither does Horneber in Germany. Probably not worth their while, for the few that aren't content to use 7x57 brass. http://www.custombrassandbullets.com/kynochbrass.html list it, but I suspect it's a ghost website - don't know of anyone who has managed to successfully order from them. And Kynamco UK don't list loaded ammo. Cheers, Doug

Thanks for your input everyone, I was going to use Norma or RWS brass in 7x57, whichever I can get my hands on in UK, but thought it would be a nice touch to have the 'real' stuff. Thats obviously not going to happen, so back to Plan A. Thanks again Best Peter

AFAIK the "real" stuff, at least as made by Eley-Kynoch and that's as "real" as you can get, was never stamped "275" but "7mm". Although I'll be happy to be corrected and put right! The only cases stamped "275" were for the 275 Holland and Holland.
