Im looking forward to recive a SAKO TRG22 (cal308) , and now, some friends of mine say me that its accuracy is not very good for this kind of weapon.

Would you mind tell me, the people who has it, which Score MOA do you get and how long?
and if it is possible to know the load your used to get such a performance??

Thanks a lot and dont hesitate to ask me if you need something from Spain.

.5 - .75 MOA
Try:
Lapua Brass
Varget 44.5 - 45.5 grains or VV N140 44.0 grains
Lapua Scenar 167 grain Bullet or Sierra/Hornady/Nosler 168 grain HPBT
Your Favorite Primer
OAL 2.795-2.815" (shorter if needed for your magazine dimensions)

The best thing about that rifle is you can adjust it to fit you perfectly.

The bipod is expensive, but it is the best one on the market.

I prefer the quick detachable scope mount the best.

You will fall in love with the trigger!

Maybe your friend got one with a bad barrel.

This is a TRG-21, but the only difference from what I've read is the stock. Jay

The Sako TRG-22 is one of the most accurate weapons I have ever fired. When the wind isn't blowing the rifle will shoot 1/4 MOA groups out to 300yards, i.e. 3/4" 5 shot groups or better, I haven't shot it further than that. My TRG-42 in 338 Lapua shoots equally well. I've competed against full blown benchrest rifles in Prarie dog matches at my local gun club. At the first match I tied the previous record with my TRG-22.
Anyone who says that TRG-22's aren't accurate just don't know what they are talking about and/or can't shoot. Every test I've ever read about them have acheived results similar to mine. They are one of the most accurate rifles that you can buy.
My prefered load is a Moly'd 175gr Sierra Match King, BMU'd (see Zediker.com), in Lapua brass, federal GM 210M primers, with VV N-140.
Congratulations on receiving one soon, I consider mine one of the finest rifles I've ever owned and one of the most fun to shoot. Enjoy yours.............DJ

....Remember that this is all supposed to be for fun!..................
