Can someone please give me some ideas on what I can load with this powder? I have 8 pounds of it that I purchased for loading a 30-30 and no longer have the gun (long story, but to make it short I exchanges three brand new win 94 one after the other and none worker properly--Asked for my $$ back). I do still have a 308, 45-70, and 270,can I use the powder for these calibers?

H335 is suitable for 308 Winchester, but a bit fast for 270 Win., and should only be used in single-shot, strong action 45-70.

too bad about the 30-30, I have an old M94 that's really a tack driver with 35gr's of H-335 and a 150gr Speer. H-335 works great in .308, and also .223, everyone should have a .223

H335 is an ideal propellant for the 7.62X39, especially with the heavier bullets. I use it in my SKS with a 180-grain .311 Speer roundnose, for 1950 fps MV!!

H335 is one of the better propellants for a 308, so, it won't go to waste.

GSF1200 is right. Go get a 223 at once, and use some of the H335 in it. If you have one, get another (you can't have too many 223's, they're just too much fun). It's the American military round, for pete's sake - you're a patriotic American, right? If necessary, you may print this out and show it to the missus as proof that you need one, or more.

I am currently using H-335 in my .308, and it works okay, but not as well as BL-C. H-335 is formulated for small cases. Nothing I've found is as good in the .222/.223 family.

Load cautiously in your .45/70, but just stay away from it in your .270.

I agree that it is supreme in the .223! 27.5 grains (safe in my gun only) under a Nosler 40gr BT is a < .5 inch five shot at 100yds recipe in my Cooper VE21.

Buy yourself a surplus Lee Enfield in .303 Brit and put around 41gns of H335 behind a 180gn bullet - that'll make you smile:-)

You can use the H-335 in your .308 with bullet weights from 110 grains up to 225 grains.

It can also be used in your .45-70 with bullet weights from 300 grains to 500 grains.

And, in your .270 with bullet weights from 90 to 110 grains.
