I had better luck with RL22.
I tried RL 17, but the accuracy wasn't there
Try these for fun 100 yard group

Yes
My sons rifle shoots 100 grain Sierra's with near max loads of RL17 very well.
Over the weekend he killed 3 deer with that combo, over the last couple years he's taken 7 deer with that, he's 11 years old by the way.

well I just decided to go ahead and give it a try. Now the new Hornady manual says you can load 110gr bullets, but no data for 100gr. So I thought, lets try 45gr of reloder 17 with the 100gr tsx bullet. No pressure signs with bolt lift or primer flattening but definately a littie snapier at the shoulder. got a 3/4 inch group, which I loved and will load this again with 45 and 45.5 and 46 and see how things go.
I shot some TSX 100gr bullets with 51.5 and 52.5 of reloder 17 in my sako 25-06 and the 52.5 gr load shows some promise. All in all I'm happy with how things worked out so far. FS
