I finished the 22/250 today, and will be posting the results.

Anyone who wants a copy of it emailed to them, email me at my home email. seafire@charter.net

I will be doing the 243 next. Let me know what bullet weights you want to see. I have a normal use for 60 grs, 75 grain HPs, 80 grs, 95 grains and 100, 105 grains.

If others have bullet weights that they use and want to see let me know, or even better, email me and I'll give you my address and you can mail me some and I will test them.

I am leaning to putting this in a booklet form, with the focus on downloads for youth and smaller shooters.

Cheers and Good shooting

70's and 85's are fairly popular weights to try. i'm sure any of them will be interesting though.
these blue dot reports are great! thanks a bunch!
jeese o pete! looks like alliant powder co. would work up data for their blue dot powder in these calibers.

Seafire

I am waiting to try some 85gr Sierra Blitz and 95gr Nosler Ballistic Tip with standard loads. Blue Dot data would be good.

Thanks...

The 85 and 95 grainers are on the menu Titan!

Just did the 55 grain Ballistic tip this morning. I think I have found a new friend with those loads!

Looks like the final report will have everything but the 63 grain, 58 grain, VMaxes, unless someone wants to mail me a box of each.

I use the 223 alot. The 22/250 impressed me more. Now the 243 is looking like it may even have more flexibility than the 22/250 had.

I will also do this in 6mm Rem, but probably not as extensive as not as many of us shoot it as the 243.

But I also wish I had a 250 Savage, to test. I will be doing this on the 260 Remington tho.

These tests are searching for youth loads.

Kyode, said it was funny that Alliant has not tested this stuff, or published this stuff. I think it is funny, that I was born and my family is from the area around where Alliant is based out of, Radford VA area.

I live in Oregon, because it is more like that area of Virginia I knew as a kid, not like it is today, all built up.

Who knows after I am done, someone may send my work to Alliant. With my luck, they will see it and QUIT making Blue Dot.

Cheers and Good shooting
