58 degrees F. The snow is melting rapidly. The range was open today. The old 223 happily drilled half inch, 5-shot groups at 100 with the new load I was trying out. Every rock on the hillside that I aimed at, promptly burst into pieces. Very slight sunburn. Paying dearly by doing my afternoon's work between now and midnight. Don't even care.

Yes, it has been very nice. I went to the Outdoor show today, great show, but my feet are killing me. I need to get bunch of reloading done, but the weather is too nice to be inside!

Likewise I have been waiting for spring since winter started. I have been shooting on the outdoor range every week however no matter how bad it was. I do pick the best day of the week however. Last Thursday it was nice enough to take the jacket off. We stood around and chatted. "....Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complextion dimmed, ..........."

P-dog, you live in Wisconson and complain about the cold?? Isn't that like working at the dump and not liking the smell I think the coldest we got was about -5 one night. When I used to work on a farm, we would hit -20 several times, but never more that -25. It also got to 114 once in the summer there. That was too hot.
