I going to start reloading for 6.8spc some brass has small primers and some large primers.Are there any benifets to one or the other? Rem are lg s.s.a. are small.

Yes: If you have only one of either of those sizes you can brag to someone who has the other size that your brass/primers produce "better" loads.

Also, if you have one size as opposed to the other and also happen to have beaucups of primers in that size, you can feel fortunate.

Outside of these or similar circumstances, their performance will be indistiguishable.
