Anyone have some favorite loads for a 6.5X57? Starting to load for a Steyr SBS, RWS brass and 120 140 grain bullets. I have some load info from Hornady and Sierra, as well as a bunch for 6.5X55. I have found my Sako swede likes loads more to the published max, wondering if the Steyr as it is modern as well will be the same.

41 grain N140 fro the Nosler BT 120 grain. This is a load for the rimless case but can be used in modern rifles for the rimmed cartridges as well.

My rifle does not like 140 gr bullet, but found 129 Hornadys to be excellent.

I have used IMR 4350 with the 129 gr Hornady at 46 grs for a velocity of around 2800 fps .
