when loading for 7x64 brenneke do you have a favorite brass brand ... Norma , RWS , or Lapua .. i believe all three still make 7x64 brass .. thanks again farmer56

I make my 7x64 brass from .30-06. Cheap, abundant, and, once you go through the conversion, trimming, and chamfering process, one brand is as good as another. Buy the cheapest you can find -- neither your gun nor an animal shot with it will know the difference.

I prefer Norma above Lapua for the reason that the case walls of the Lapua cases are much thicker leaving less space for powder. Especially with calibers like .222Rem.

But then if you just want it for hunting, there is nothing as good for the price as Winchester cases. You would probably get a few reloads less, but it will give you lots of joy.

By all means, go with the Lapua brass 1st + the W.W. 2 nd. Here stateside I get more reloads using WW brass due to case thickness. Lapua is a European top of the line.
