 Today the .270, 115gr. HPBT blems were tested with four different powders all driving these bullets between 2850 and 3025 fps.From a Mod. 200 Stevens. When I just now tried to order a 1000 more bullets I found out they were sold out of the blems.It would seem that with all the chit chat of low recoil, reduced loads and such, for white tails this bullet, if properly designed, diven at 2400 to 2500 fps. from ,naturally, a .270 would be excellent.  rogerOld age is a high price to pay for maturity!!!
