My son and I are planning an elk trip to NM later this year, and he just bought a gorgeous Rigby-styled rifle in .30-'06. I have both Nosler Partitions and Swift A-Frames in 165-grain configuration. Which would you use and why, OR, are they so close in performance that it really won't matter? And I would really prefer to hear from those of you who have used both... Thanks in advance, guys.

Try them both. Use the one that shoots best.

I am not trying to be rude ... No I have not used them in that caliber The issue to me that the two are so well proven and not too dissimilar that I would choose the one that shoots best in the rifle. Reliable accurate repeatable performance is more important than the little difference that may exist between the two bullets. Good hunting. "When the wind stops....start rowing. Doubless, Have used both, I continue to use the Nosler, only because it groups best in my rifle....Sound advice from all the others. Best of luck with the hunt....Carl Exercise makes you look good naked, so does bourbon.....You decide
