Norman, What law? Feds? Fire Marshall? Was unaware of any federal mandate on limits of smokeless powder aside from storage regulations. Gary

We have these ridiculous laws where I live, so I'm shutting right up Love to get hold of some Li'l Gun for my son's Hornet, though - a couple of kilograms should do....

The way I understand it, you are limited to 4 pounds of black powder outside of a properly constructed powder magazine. I'd not aware of any federal restrictions on smokeless powder. If there is a limit, and someone could quote an actual federal law or regulation, it would be appreciated.

NFPA 495 is the only regulation that I am aware of that covers smokeless powder transport and storage. I have enough to need a storage cabinet IAW NFPA 495 (>20 lbs, but <50 lbs in residential buildings). SAMMI excerpt for smokeless powder storage
