I have two .375s and they both seem to like this powder the best -- IMR or H., doesn't seem to matter. I have tried 4064, Re. 15 and several others, but none perform as good as 4350.

With 260-grain Partitions, I load 81 grains for 2710 fps; with 300-grain A-Frames, I shoot 70 grains for 2525 fps. Accuracy is exceptional with both weights. I use a 24-inch drop tube for both loads to avoid compression.

I seldom see folks use 4350 in their .375, so I am interested in seeing if anyone else likes this powder. Also, I find it interesting that the Swift Manual lists max loads considerably less for IMR 4350 than it does for H 4350, even though my rifles can't tell the difference -- velocity or pressure sign-wise.

I have a couple .375's and they're my favorite rifles. I also happen to be a pretty big fan of IMR 4350 but I can't get a decent marriage between the two.

My best loads with the .375's have come from either 4064 (lighter bullets) or RL 15 (heavier bullets).

I have worked up loads for two different .375 H&H rifles now for friends on their way to Africa.

One preferred Varget powder behind the 300 grain Swift A-Frame, the other preferred H 4350 behind the same bullet.

Both shot amazingly small groups with this bullet with scopes of only 4 to 6 power.

I actually would prefer the H 4350 load just for the load density.

Sorry,

I typed 70 grains with the 300-grain bullet. It should have read 79 grains.
