Does anybody know where I can get some 50 round plastic ammo boxes for 223 sized rounds that will accomodate longer than normal bullets? I load 80 Gr Sierras in my 223 for long range, and by neccessity, they are seated long. Standard ammo boxes won't close with them it it. (I don't want to go to the slip top boxes). Thanks for any leads!

One option is to go to the MTM rs-s 50's. This is the size that runs between the 223 and the 243 size. This is the size that the PPC shooters are using. It will lose empty cases out of the slots, but not loaded ones. HTH, Dutch.

Thanks Dutch. May have to go that route. Losing empties isn't great, but I'm sure I can work a system to keep track of them.
