Anybody know any hotter loads for the 44/40? I have a newer faux Colt and I need to reload for it, loads I made before from Lee manual squbbed and stopped in the barrel.

You don't need warmer loads, you just need good loads.

Go HERE, look up .44-40, and be safe. Most manufacturers have load data available under "Cowboy" loads. You can also see what Alliant has to offer Here.

I used to use bluedot in my .44-40 but seeing as it is an "N" frame S&W I won't print the load.
