Gary SewellReloading for Mosin-Nagant 7.62x54r
I just got a Mosin-Nagant rifle using this round, and would like to reload for it. I have a Dillon XL650 press and I can find no dies for it from them. What caliber conversion kit and dies do I need? Thanks,
Gary

Page 46 in your instruction manual. Anybody's dies for that cartridge ought to work.

jeffeossowhen i loaded those of mine, in a SVT and a couple nagants, i bought the "tin" of ammo, and spent a couple hours tearing them down ... and thereby having primed brass and good bullets..
iirc, i used w748, as 3031 was too dirty for my SVT..
things shot GREAT

mickbergeri like 46gr Varget and the 123gr .310 diameter VMax seated to cannelure in PRVI brass. This load shot well in all rifles so far and even in the "Dragunov".
After you get your full length dies you might want to consider the LeeLoader for a neck sizing die, they work real well.
