Well, after reading over 1200 post, y'all went and made me go out and get some of those darn MatchKings. I want to load some of the 135gr.ers in my 270 Win. with a 22" barrel just to see if I can set a new 1000 yd. world record. <J/K>
All my manuals have loads for 130gr. and 140gr. but no 135gr.
Do any of you shoot 135grs. in 270 Win and what seems to be your best combination?

Powder wise, I have:
RL 7, RL 15, RL 19, RL 22 and RL 25
H414, H4350, H4831SC, H1000 and Varget
IMR 4350
(NO SMOKING)
Just about every primer you can imagine.

Thanks fellow reloaders. *Nut*

Try 58gr H4831 under the 135. It gave me execllent accuracy and good velocity.

Sierra's 50th Edition lists the 135 and 140's together. Below are the powders you said you had that they have loads for.

.277 135gr MatchKing HPBT
OAL= 3.340"

H4831 (same as H4831SC)
Starting load 50.9 grs. Velocity 2600
Max. load 57.9 grs. Velocity 3000

H1000
Starting load 57.0 grs. Velocity 2600
Max. load 60.0 grs. Velocity 2800

IMR4350
Starting load 46.2 grs. Velocity 2600
Max. load 53.0 grs. Velocity 3000

Of course their velocitys were out of a 26" barrel.

Give R22 a try-that is what I use with the 135-I have a 25" tube and can push it to 3300. I shot a deer at 460 this fall it was electrocuted. And the 2 lopes one a 285 and one at 486. Al three died no big deal.
