Hello. Why the H....... can't I get those 150 grs. Nosler's accurate??? Is this a common problem with that bullet?? My Mauser M98, in cal. 7,62x51 NATO (308) usually makes cloverleafs at 100 M. My best is 7mm 3shot group, on 100 M!! The only thing I did was to pull out the bullet of a standard NATO cartridge, and replaced it with a 150 grs. Sierra MK. But now, with 150 grs Noslers; it is usuall with 40-70mm groups!! I tried the 165 grs. Noslers, and they where much better.

Your lucky you got the groups you did with the MatchKings. I'm not surprised at your Partition groups. Mil surp ammo is not made to the standard of accuracy of ordinary hunting ammo. If you handload long, you'll find that some powders shoot better than others with a given bullet. There seems to be be no reason for this. True, some loads are often accurate in various rifles, but there really all individuals. If your .308 will shoot anything really well, I'd be very surprised if you couldn't find an MOA accurate load with the Nosler Partition. E

I have found Nosler partitions to be the wild card as far as accuracy goes, some rifles shoot them well and others don't. The rifles that don't are usually the ones that I want the partition to do well in.

Yeah!! I've also used 43grs/N150 behind a 165grs. Nosler Part. and that was satisfying, but I've tried it all with those d...... 150 grainer's, and nothing works. I dont think it's somthing wrong with the rifle itself. It got a new "Kongsberg" heavy match barrel.
