I've just gotten some CCI BR22 primers. Is there any changes I need to make in my loads to allow for these primers instead of using the normal Federal LR primers? I understand they work well with Varget powser. I'm new to using BR22 primers.

Are you sure those aren't "BR2"?

If so, they're simply large rifle benchrest primers, similar to CCI 200 but advertised as getting a bit more care and attention in the manufacturing process.

If they actually say 'BR22' on them, then I'm stumped.

By way of a disclaimer, I have to say that primers are not interchangeable by brand, and loads should always be worked up again if any component is changed. I once had an experience (way back in my misspent youth) where I had a near maximum load that used CCI200 primers. I substituted WWLR primers, and the load showed seriously excessive pressure.
