Does anyone know of a source for 7mm FMJ military style bullets. I've seen them in loaded cartridges (from Argentina ?), but I can't find any listed from the US bullet manufacturers. I just want 50 or 100.

Not exactly what you want, but Barnes makes 7mm solids, or used to anyway.

Barnes doesn't make them anymore. But if you REALLY want some try Midway to see if they still have some from (gasp) A-squared Big Grin

Go here: http://www.ows-ammo.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/30

There are some various loaded 7x57 with FMJ bullets and on down the list some heavy just bullets, a box of 104. I believe 170 some grains.

They are certainly odd looking, nothing like the turn-of-the-century German FMJ's. They almost look like soft points. That old ammo with the 170 gr. FMJRN are what Bell used to kill elephants with. I haven't seen any of this in a couple of decades. All of the South American ammo is 140 +- gr. spitzer FMJ's.

It's only a 140 gr spitzer, but it's still listed.

There was a guy at the last gun show that had some. 1913 issue DWM. He only had 18 rounds and wanted a buck a piece so I passed. Ammo was most likely corrosive as hell and probably wouldn't have shot anyway.
