I haven't tried 4350 but did try IMR 7828 and 4831, as well as Hodgdon Retumbo. I got the best velocity so far with Retumbe....@3050 fps. the other two were at @2700. All with 175 Nosler Partitions.
AA 8700 has also been recomended to me but I have not tried that yet.

I've tried it in my 300RUM because Nosler said it was the most accurate. I'll never do that again. It burns way too fast for that huge case and groups sucked. I was getting serious pressure signs as well if I got even remotely close to max. Yours may be similar since it's only 1 step below the 300. You never know though. I finally switched to RL-25 and love it for this cartridge. Great velocity, good accuracy and no pressure signs. My recommendation is to stick with the slower powders (IMR7828, RL-22, or RL-25).

I am getting super groups with H1000 in my 300RUM. Good velocity as well,...I have tried some RL25 and it showed prominse,..I just havn't gone through the whole work up ladder with that powder yet.
Try H1000, RL25, and retumbo as suggested.

Hunter31, 4350 in any flavor is going to be too fast & not offer enough bulk in the case. I would try IMR7828, RL22, RL25, H1000 or AA8700. These are all slow enough to give you max. vel. in that big case. I use 7828 or RL22 in my 7mm Dakota under the 160grNP.

I just completed shooting a 7mm Ultra Mag for a buddy. I got the best accuracy with a 160 grain North Fork bullet and used H-1000 Powder with a Fed 215M primer. I shot several other powders and bullets, none matched the combo mentioned above. The top load was 3262 fps on average. Good shooting.
