If you are going to buy commercial 110 gr SPs then I'll suggest you opt for the Speer 110 HP or the Sierra 125 HP instead. Both have proven to be much more accurate in my 30-30s than the typical M1 Carbine 110 gr bullet. I push both the Speer and Sierra HPs out of my 20" M94 with 37 gr AA2230. Cases are R-P and primers are WLRs. Accuracy is 2 MOA for the Speer and 1.5 MOA for the Sierra. I have a 1.5X Burris scout scope on my M94. Velocity is 2520 fps with the Speer and 2470 fps with the Sierra. Both are very deadly on coyotes, rock chuck and jack rabbits. H335 with the same charge works as well. As always work up to that load, if you try it, in your rifle. Larry Gibson | |||
