Just bought a hosscat of a pistol. 10.5" barrel, performance center with bushnell elite scope. My brother and I were shooting a 1'X1' gas can at 200 yards with factory 200gr bullets. Problem is you can't buy those 200gr hornady bullets. So figured I would use 240gr XTP mags and 300gr XTP mags. I think it has a gained rifle twist barrel. Nothing but awesome.

I got alot of H110, so I am set there. But never heard of any target reduced recoil loads. I know you can shoot 45LC thru it. But I know some people that shoot only that thru thier 454's and ended up having to ream out powder residue to get 454's to shoot. Worried might happen with 454 loads, but who knows. These guys shot like 2000 rounds of 45LC before shooting too many 454's.

BC,
I think your question would get more press in the big bores forum.

You might want to repost it there.

I don't reload for the .460 but do reload for the .454. You probably won't have too much luck with H110 and reduced loads, that powder isn't made to be reduced.

I wasn't figuring on using unique for reduced loads. Just for full power loads. I was looking for a unique load or simular.
