I had fantastic success with Reloader 15 in the 9,3 calibres. It is difficult to get powder in the US but it is close to impossible in Germany now. So I am wondering how close Norma 203-B is? Some say it is simply the same. Thank you!

Yes, very similar, both double-based powder of equivalent burn rate.

According to Norma, RL-15 is Norma 203B that didn't meet the specs so is marketed as RL-15.
Reloading data, at least for the .308 Win, is the same as RL-15

JagerFrank,

I have a copy of a letter from Hercules, then the importer of RL-15 that states RL-15, N203B and Rottweil R903 are exactly the same powder.

When I was last living in Germany, I used N203B and Rottweil 903 powders in lieu of RL-15 in my 9,3x62. Just follow the book recommendations for RL-15 and you will do fine. Or, get Norma reloading data directly from Norma and use the N203B data.

RL-15 is just another batch of Norma 203B. Norma uses it at the factory and also sells it to Allaint who repackages it. I learned this from member Don Heath of Norma.

Thank you all, this is very helpful!

BTW: I had very good success on Wildboars with the GSC230grain over Re 15. I used the GS because of their accuracy but I am equally impressed with the performance.
