I ordered several boxes of Northfork bullets for testing. Do any of you Gents have some pet loads for the following Northforks? Please indicate estimated MV or chronographed MV. .308 180gr .308 200gr .338 225gr .338 240gr .375 300gr .416 370gr I'm loading for 300 H&H, 300 Win Mag, 338 Win Mag, 375 H&H, 416 Rigby. Thanks for any and all guidance.

I have some 300 grain .375 NF bullets for my rifle, but haven't loaded any yet. I have worked up loads with the 270 gr .375 for a plains game hunt. The one thing I can tell you is to heed Mike Brady's advice and lower your usual charge of whatever you've been using. In my rifle 72 gr. of RL15 with the 270 NF goes 2770 and I can push them a little faster, but in hot, dry high altitude areas pressures seem to rise and these are plenty fast. In the same rifle, 74 gr of RL15 gives 2770 fps with 270 gr Hornady SP. I've been using these for practice, unfortunately they don't shoot to the same impact as the NF loads although you would think they would. The NF shoot about 1 1/2 in. to the left of the Horn. Either one of these will shoot 3/4 3-shots in my rifle. Last week I had one cloverleaf with the Hornady load, probably something of an accident, but it helps confidence with a big rifle that will do this. Just be sure and start at least 3-4 grains lower than your current loads, as Mike says.

jstevens- Thank you for the reply. I'm anxious to try the Northforks, I'll use them in Africa this year if they shoot as well for me as some have experienced.
