I have been helped by a friend to take these charges by using the quick load program. Me and my friend started to load these cartridges 3 gr below peak load. These charges are made on the Swift A-Frame and Wood Leigh bullets. I have test fired these charges also. I hope you understand my translation from Swedish to English. /Stefan It requires a whole new way of thinking to solve the problems we created with the old way of thinking. / Albert Einstein "The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go a little past them into the impossible. / Arthur C. As you can see that we just, we just used regular bullets from Swift and Wood Leigh and no bullets from Barnes copper bullets (TSX). I have had one snack with a gunsmith here in Sweden and he says that copper bullets wear out barrels faster than bullets that Swift, Wood Leigh, and others. Can I hear your arguments on this point of view on the copper bullets. Are There Any of you who Have Such experience??? /Stefan It requires a whole new way of thinking to solve the problems we created with the old way of thinking. / Albert Einstein "The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go a little past them into the impossible. / Arthur C. No, not true in sporting arms. It is a fact that the full diameter bronze 50 cal match bullets cause early barrel retirement in 50 BMG rifkles but there is no correlation to small arms. In fact, the pure copper of most mono-metal hunting bullets is technically softer than the guilding metal used on conventional cup and core bullets. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

It isn't bullet friction which wears out bores, it is gas heat and pressure. If a bullet does not obturate to fill the bore. hot high pressure gasses blast past the bullet and scorch away steel like a blow torch. Bullet fit is more important than bullet material. Even steel cased bullets can cause less bore damage than hot gasses. .

In the 416 rem mag I like Reloader 15 best.I have used it on bullets from 300 gr to 410 gr woodleigh bullets. You better watch those long woodleigh bullets .They have longer driving surfaces on them than regular bullets.I loaded them up in my 416 rem mag.You dont want to drive the 416 rem mag to maxium pressure if your planning to go to Africa. The high tempatures there will greatly increase your pressure.I always run about 3-5% below the top. That plenty of energy to kill anything you want to kill.

Ok! We have no sellers of RL gunpowder here in Sweden anymore, which is very sad. What I know I will not go to Africa, but to the country south of Alaska. I have about 30 relatives there and some of them I also. I have a standing invitation to come and hunt with them whenever I want. I'm more and save money for my dream game, and then fill my 60 years in a few years so maybe I have got together enough money to complete this journey. /Stefan It requires a whole new way of thinking to solve the problems we created with the old way of thinking. / Albert Einstein "The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go a little past them into the impossible. / Arthur C.
