Remember the old commericial, Let Mikey try it, he'll eat anything, He likes it ! I have two rifles that will one hole just about any load you can stuff in them. Is there any reasoning behind this ? One is in a Model 700 BDL 6mm and the other in a Ruger 77rs 358 WCF with short barrel. When trying different loads the point of impact changes but the group size stays the same, real small. Anyone experience the same ?

Yep, the same thing happens with my 7mm. I've been told by very knowledgable people on this board that it is a very good thing. Mine groups tight with whatever load but the POI changes depending on the load. I have come to use just two loads, one with 140 gr x bullets and one with 160 gr Failsafes.

I too have two Remington 700's (a PSS and a ADL) both seem to eat just about anything and group well! Some loads are obviously superior to others, but almost anything I put together seems as though it would make a good hunting round.
I have a 22 Rimfire like that-does not matter what round it hits /groups just about the same spot within an 1" center. Haven't been that lucky with my centerfires though-yep you be lucky folks!!
