For those of you who have been concerned over the decline of western civilization and the chronic lack of H4350, Powder Valley got a shipment!

I think I got one of the last 8 pound jugs, but they still have one pounders.

Good luck!

Same here. Local store had H4350 all during the "shortage". The only powders I noticed that were hard to find at times were the faster burning handgun powders.
Weird how isolated the shortages were. Couldnt find Unique, Bullseye, 296, etc at any store in CO when I lived there. Met a guy one day at the Falcon range near Peyton who quit shooting handguns. Told him the store I visited in TN had all the handgun powders. Was driving there at least every other month as we finalized our house plans and workshop build and offered to bring him some back. He was ecstatic when I called him and told him to come pick up the 4 pounds he asked for.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Am I right in thinking H4350 is made here by ADI? If so, the shortage could be because only some ships are allowed to carry inflammable goods like that. We are constantly told American powders are unavailable for that reason.

COPIED::

Many of the most popular powders sold under the Hodgdon brand in the USA (including Varget and H4350) are actually made by Thales Australia Ltd. (formerly ADI, Ltd.) in Australia. Some load manuals list Thales (ADI) data, but not Hodgdon data, or vice-versa, so we’ve compiled this list of equivalent powders. If you can’t find a recommended load for a particular Hodgdon powder in your caliber, download the latest ADI Smokeless Powders Handloaders Guide .

Here’s a list of ADI to Hodgdon Powder equivalents:

AS30N=Clays
AP50N = (No Hodgdon)
AS50N = International
AP70N = Universal
AP100 = (No Hodgdon)
AR2205 = H4227
AR2207 = H4198
AR2219 = H322
Bench Mark1 = (No Hodgdon)
Bench Mark2 = BenchMark AR2206 = (No Hodgdon)
AR2206H = H4895
AR2208 = Varget
AR2209 = H4350
AR2213 = (Discontinued)
AR2213SC = H4831
AR2217 = H1000
AR2225 = Retumbo
AR2218 = H50BMG
