Now that I have been able to get some loading data for the round, I wonder if anyone who is already loading it can give me some help. What are you loading, and what works for you? I am interested mainly in the 140 gr. bullet. Accuracy and group size is all that matters. High velocity (over 3400) would be nice, but is not really all that important to me.
Thanks

i got over 3550 with 140s and H-1000,and 3500 with RL22,but this gun didnt like the 140s.
settled on the 154 Hornady and a max load of RL22 for 3405,and the groups are there.hits way yonder harder than the 140s and just as flat.

Like Eric I didn't have any luck with the 140s.
So far I'm using 91gr. Reloader 25 Fed 215m primer and nosler 160gr. partition, just at 3400 fps, best group .231
OAL 3.650

Just curious guys, but where were you able to find this data. These velocities are significantly higher than any I can find. What I mean is, I can find the same charges, but they show lower MV. Were yours by chronograph, or published data.
Just trying to get my head straight.
Thanks

Hornady mailed me the data.it was very close to what they said.mine was over the shooting chronie and is only about 50 fps faster than what they said it would be.
Sierras data is with a 24 inch bbl and they said to add about 80 fps per inch which would be 160 fps added for the 26 inch bbl.which works out real close also.
the most accurate load from this rifle was the Sierra 160 Game King HP and RL 25 at 3300,but i liked the higher BC and the tougher make of the 154 Hornady.

Thank s lot. Really appreciate the help. What did you do to get data from Sierra? All I managed to get was a long list of excuses. Maybe I called them too soon. In any case, I guess I will have to try again. Thanks again, and good luck w/yours.
