Bobby B. Forgive, I believe you, I form 30/06 down to 6.5-257 Robers Japanese, 30/06 to 257 Roberts, 30/06 to 308 Winchester, 7.65 BM, 7.7 Japanese etc., all without a donut.

I formed 20 cases for a 22/6 MM Remington improved chamber from 30/06 and 25/06 cases, by the time the case was down to 243 (6MM) the donut at the neck shoulder juncture required removal, removal because the reamer is not a drill, the reamer is more like a core hole drill, because of the obstruction of the donut a tapered reamer was required first ( a drill could have been used), as the process progressed the donut require removal again when it was necked down to 22.

I know the 6mm Remington case would have been a better option but the cases were formed for someone that was not having much success fire forming, his failure rate was 80%, 80 out of 100, long story.

Necking up: I neck up 280 Remington cases to 35 Whelen, 338/06 and 30/06 because of the forward shoulder on the 280 Remington, it is .041 thousands ahead of the 30/06. The forward shoulder allows me to form cases for the 30/06 tyoe chamber with zero head space (.000).

I need you to send me your email address, you are in Canada, there are times when mailing from here to there is difficult, as I said I do not believe I have a 260 Remington set of dies, I will dig.
