They both work.

Very well.

But, the Garmin will not measure air rifles.

Just thought some of you might find this useful.

The FX will measure low velocity Olympic air rifles.

The Garmin refused to show any velocity from these.

Think you maybe have a bad one then. Ours works with air soft guns as well. Have not tried a bow yet.

Air soft guns do not shoot pellets like air rifles do, it looks like the Garmin is not as effective as the Labradar which has proven to work with air rifles and the new super compact Labradar LX should be just as effective for air rifles, forget about the Garmin for air rifles, from what I have read it is looking like the new LX will be the chronograph to go with for across the board speed measurements.
This is turning into quite the accesorie for reloaders etc.

I said, “air soft as well”. Meaning it works with pellet guns too.

I am shooting a FIENWERKBAU 900 match gun.

Both the Garmin and FX are setup in the range.

The Garmin refused to show any reading.

The FX did.

Glad yours work!

The Garmin has a selection of different speed settings. Maybe one of these would work for the lower velocity firearms ... ?

Still won't read.

I will give it to the dealer to check.

Thank you all for your answers.
