Im looking at reloading the 7.62x25. Ive bin looking for dies ive found lee and rcbs on midway. Ive read that the lee dies dont set the bullet in strait and the rcbs dies cost $145. Any sugestions for me? Ive also read that you can use 30 mauser dies. Is the mauser going to be the exact same as the tokarev? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Get the Lee; don't believe what you have read. I have at least 20 sets of them.

Here in UK I have used Lee dies, in a Dillon 550, to reload 7.62mm Tokarev pistol ammunition. Lee's 7.62mm Tokarev set.

Initial results were a 3" to 4" group at 25 yards. I do not think that RCBS dies would have done any better.

And I am a dyed in the wool RCBS user since the late 1970s too!

The most difficult aspect will be finding a suitable mould for a true "lookalike" Tokarev?Mauser style bullet.
