Thanks, guys, for the responses. It looks as though this cartridge works well with a wide variety of powders. This will keep me busy for a while!

My chronograph sez H414 and I have been shooting it for years...My loads are over book max because I have a very long throated Brno 21 rifle, it basically shoot 7 Ackley loads....

The 4350's are indeed excellent powders for the 7X57mm. So is H414/WW760, and RE19 and RE 22. I have also had great results, both accuracy and velocity-wise, with Norma N205 and MRP in my Ruger 7X57's (a M77 round-top and a 1A).

I have also used IMR 4064 and IMR 4320 in the 7X57 with reasonable results, but the slower powders are better for both accuracy and high velocities with acceptable pressure levels!
