I have some Varget, IMR3031, and H4350 on hand. Any body know of any good loads with these powders for the 7mag with 160gr nosler partitions or sierra gamekings? If you would, please give me ur load data and tell me what ya think of it. Also are there any powders that are better then the ones mentioned? Im new to reloading so if these questions sound stupid, sorry. Thanx for all the input

Redneck:H4350 is a pretty good powder for the 7mm Rem or WBY mags the other two may work ok with lighter bullets but there are better choices .The 7mm mags like slower powders eg.4831,7828,4350,3100 etc.Check out the load data on this site for starters then try Hodgdons web site or download Accurate arms online catalog.Try this . http://benchrest.com/sst/

redneck, I like RL22 in my 7mm with the heavy stuff. The last load I hunted with was a 160 Aframe at 3077 fps from a 24" tube using a healthy dose of the stuff. ------------------

H-4831SC and RL-22 with 160gr bullets seems to achieve the best combination of accuracy and velocity in most 7 Mags.

Gentlemen, I have had good luck for accuracy with Reloader 22 and Nosler partitions or hornady interlocks. I mainly shoot 175 gr. bullets in my 7mm. I was disappointed with their velocity once I got my chronograph, but impressed with performance on game, which is what REALLY matters. For velocity, I like IMR 7828. I am still working on the most accurate loads with it, but have had some around an inch. Joel Slate 7mm Rem Mag Page www.slatesafaris.com/7mm.htm
