Here's some Data 2200 loads I had stashed. Hope you guys can make heads or tails out of it. I do know that you want to be careful when you start using 50 & 55 gr. bullets in 223 Rem and get into the 26 gr. range with this powder. Stay around 24 to 25 gr. and you'll be about Max and still be safe. I really like this powder with the 221 Fireball (21.5 gr/40 gr. Vmax @ 3240 fps) and it shines with the 222 Rem. and a 50 gr. bullet(25.4 grs/50 gr Sierra Blitz @ 3100 fps) Godsdog.

222 Rem. and a 50 gr. bullet(25.4 grs/50 gr Sierra Blitz @ 3100 fps)
Hit the wrong number: 25.4 should be 23.4 grs. Godsdog.

Did you get this from Steves Pages. Really neat powder chart shown. Shows powders in families-cousins in a way. Must use caution in working up a load but can substitute out

And the AA powder Co. was bought out by Western Powder Co. I tried to call a while back and had to press a # if I had a question about AA powder. The call was switched to Western Powder Co. I bought a 8lb. jug of the AA2230-C which is supposed to be between the AA2230 and AA2460 in burn rate. Said it was a slow lot of AA2230 that was surplus military powder. But at $56 I couldn't pass it up. Like others have said, the AA2200 is supposed to be between the 1680 and 2230. AA bought their powders from around the world and working up loads for new lots is needed. But their powders haven't wandered around the burn rate charts any more than the other brands in my experiance. BM
