Thanks for the input. I do have a chronograph. So I take it that if I were to play with primers it would be fitting to try magnum primers? Sounds like bullets and powder provide enough variables for my endeavors.

I found an accuracy diff going from CCI 200 Large to Fed Mag. 215 in my A-Bolt .270, FWIW.

naja302, if the etc. includes flintlocks, matchlocks, wheellocks, etc. primers are not important.
Couldn't resist, sorry bout that.
