Has anybody tried this powder or will it even work in a 300 H&H. I'm working up loads using 200 gr. sptzrs. and both IMR 4350 and 4831. I have a 26 in. barrel and began thinking about a slower burning powder. I have a good supply of RL 25 as I use it in a 300 RUM. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Ron

Not a good choice for the 300 H&H --- a little on the slow side. A waste of time IMHO.

I'd not hesitate to use it..... My Hornady manual shows max loads of 79.2 grains with a 180 bullet at 2,900 FPS and a charge of 73.7 grains with the 190 grain bullet at 2,800 FPS and a charge of 73.6 grains with a 220 grain bullet for 2,600 FPS..... /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Thanks Vapodog. At least I know it will work. I'm getting 2915 fps with 68 gr. of IMR4831 and a Sierra 200 gr. game king without any obvious pressure signs. This is out of a pre 64. It has been as accurate as I can shoot it with the vintage Lyman All American 4 power. One to one and a half inches at 100yds., so I believe I'll put it away until Elk season.
