I'm looking for some starting load data for both 130 and 150 grain Triple Shock bullets. I've recently moved from Northern NY and downsized from the 300 Win Mag barrel on my encore to a 24" 30-06 barrel. The deer are definately smaller here in Eastern TN but the steeper mtns make up for it. I've got IMR4831 and H4831 right now but I've heard people using reloder and varget. Any suggestions??? Thanks, Scott

Find Barnes website. Find the contact link. Tell them you are buying some bullets and what grains and ask if they could e-mail you their latest data. They will do so cheerfully......you'll get the info probably within an hour or two of you e-mail. (At least they always do for me!).

130 gr Barnes XLC, 58 gr of IMR4895 may get you 3,330 fps and 65 kpsi with a 24" barrel 150 gr Barnes XLC, 54.8 gr of IMR4895 may get you 3,100 fps and 65 kpsi with a 24" barrel. I hate working up loads with triple shock bullets, it's so expensive

My father has had great results with around 52 grains of R-15 powder. The 52 grains is what I remember but I may be wrong. So do not trust that number completly.
