I have looked at the sinclair and stoney point type with the solvent ports and have also looked at the "caliber specific" Derlin type made by sinclair. Any reason that the derlin type would be worth the extra money, or should I just buy the stoney point adjustable type, in both caliber ranges and be done with it?

I prefer the Sinclair rod guide myself. I especially like the O-ring that seals the chamber so that there's no chance solvents will leak back into the magazine area. The solvent port is pretty nice too, but in all honesty, I don't actually use it much.

I have them both, but prefer the Sinclair. They are just easier to shove in vs screwing in the little brass rod on the Stoneypoint.

Another vote for the Sinclair. In my opinion you can't even compare the stoney point with it.

I agree with Chuck, there is no comparison.

I have 2 Stoney Points and my only complaint is that the front part catches on some ejectors when you try to take them out. In my Beretta Mato I have to take the detachable mag out to reach the ejector with a fingertip, and in my Ruger 77 I have to open the floorplate to do the same, tough little SOB to get hold of, too.

I like the Midway bore guides. My only problem/question to all of you is, does anyone know the correct bore guide from Midway that would fit the Weatherby Ultra light or the Howa (Weatherby Vanguard)?

Sinclair makes a quality product. I have never been unhappy with any Sinclair product.
