Roll EyesNot exactly an apples to apples comparison but There are few bullets that do not shoot well When I use 2230-C especially in the .223s. Sounds like it's time to try a different powder with that bullet and a different bullet with that powder.

Does the rifle accurately handle other loads? fishingroger

Thats the conclusion I came to also, Roger.
Time to try different powder, ive shot a few of my brothers reloads using varget and accuracy was very good with no load development for my rifle.
The 2230c I have works great with 55 fmj out of the 10fp. Im thinking of just loading up plinking rounds for the m1 with the 6lbs I have left
Thanks Kenny

Just a side note think im going to try h335, blc-2, and varget

Sometimes rifles just do not like the "standby" powder. My cz 527 in 223 won't shoot 50 or 55 grainers well with H335. Loves benchmark.

I'd be happy to swop my AA2230 for some H335. Frowner
If a fellow wants to shoot Pdogs or Ghogs, it'd work great but not targets.

If you don't mind, could you tell me the AA2230 load that you are using with your Lott?

I shoot a similar rifle (Savage 10FP) and it DOES NOT like bullets lighter than 55 grains.

In fact, my varmit load is a 60 gr VMAX with 2460 (2230 works also)
