I gotta hand it to RCBS and customer service. I have a RCBS Case Tumbler in which the rubber grommets that support the bowl dried out. I called RCBS to order replacements and after the tech asked all of the identification questions he asked me how old it was. I thought "Here we go... they wont have parts for it" but when I told him it was about 30 years old he said, "Oh, one of the older models". "Yeah" I responded. I asked if he had them and was told yes and he asked for my mailing address which I gave him. Then I asked how much they would be he told me "Oh, there's no charge". Well, that's hard to beat.. a 30+ year old machine that just got old and the rubber dried out but they are willing to replace them. Just a little good news and report for a change. Thought I would share.

I've had exactly the same response from RCBS. One time, I lost a spring from my press (still don't know where I put the thing!).

I called them, told them that I'd screwed up and lost the thing and offered to pay for the replacement.

The tech on the other end of the line took my address, told me no payment was necessary, and I received the spring within a week.

Same thing with the plate-holding Jesus hex-bolt of my Pro2000 press: I snapped it, and had a new one within a week, no charge, same courteous and prompt service.

Can't beat that!

My last move (in the 1980's) I had carefully wrapped all my reloading gear. Didn't trust any of those knuckle draggen movers to even touch my "stuff". When I unwrapped everything the cradle and the pan from my RCBS scale was gone. I must have thrown it out in the paper. Called RCBS to order replacements . They promptly shipped new parts at NO charge....and shipped to Canada !!! That may have something to do with green being the predominant colour in my loading room.

I've experienced similar service from RCBS. That's why there is more RCBS green on my reloading bench than any other color.

99% of my stuff is RCBS, Ive never had a complaint in 65 or so years. All my dies are green boxes with the exception of 2 that are Reddings that came with used guns, there good too, but the Redding boxes are a light green and clash with my dark green boxes, What shall I do?? Life is cruel!! faint
